Þetta fólk er eitthvað annað ! þjónustulundin jákvæðnin og hjálpsemin á allt öðru plani en maður fær oftast að kynnast hér heima, þau vaða í málin og eru virkilega skipulögð og ef eitthvað kemur upp er það leyst..

Við fengum með þeirra hjálp 2 flutningsvagna frá Gdansk vegna nýbyggingar og stóð þeirra hlutur algerlega, þau sem þau lögðu upp með að versla við voru að sama skapi mjög þægileg í samskiptum, allt eða flest allt kom töluvert ódýrara hingað heim vel frá gengið

Mæli 100 % með þessu fólki og þessu fyrirtæki og mun klárlega versla aftur með þeirra hjálp og vísa áfram öðrum til þeirra einnig..

A real person in Poland, responsible for your project

The Fixer was founded in Gdańsk by Adam Zielonkowski, together with his trusted Icelandic partner, Guðmundur Vigfússon.

Today, the company is managed by Adam and Magdalena Zielonkowska. Adam focuses on strategy, negotiations, development and solving the more complex challenges that arise during client projects, while Magdalena oversees day-to-day operations, logistics, shipments, loading and documentation.

The name The Fixer reflects the role the company was created to play. A fixer is someone who keeps things moving, solves problems and makes sure every part of the process works as planned. For us, it means checking the details, coordinating the right people and stepping in whenever something needs to be clarified, organised or brought back on track.

By combining Adam’s experience in purchasing, negotiation and problem-solving in Poland with Guðmundur’s local knowledge and support in Iceland, The Fixer helps clients manage complex cross-border purchases with greater clarity, control and confidence.

We are based in Poland, close to suppliers and warehouses. Most day-to-day work — confirming details, checking quotations and keeping deadlines on track — is handled remotely because that is usually the fastest and most efficient approach. But whenever a situation requires someone to be physically present, we are there. We can collect goods, inspect them before loading or handle documentation directly with the customs office. You do not need to travel to Poland simply to make sure someone is keeping an eye on your order.

Our role is to help you understand your options, identify potential risks and keep the entire process organised — from the moment you begin planning your purchases until the goods are ready to leave Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Does The Fixer sell the products?

No. We do not sell goods ourselves. We help you plan, verify and coordinate purchases from Polish suppliers.

Do I have to travel to Poland in person?

We recommend visiting in person for finishing materials and furniture — things you want to see, touch and check yourself. Building materials can usually be ordered remotely, without a trip.

Can I buy only the online course?

Yes. The course is available on its own, with no obligation to use further services.

Do you guarantee the final import cost?

No. Import costs depend on the goods and current regulations. We help you understand and plan for them, but we cannot guarantee a fixed figure.

What exactly does The Fixer take care of?

We coordinate transport around the city, contact with stores, appointments and translations, and help you plan an efficient route between suppliers to save time. Each order still needs to be confirmed by you — we translate and advise, but the final decisions remain yours.
